As part of the Private Pilots Licence, you have to sit a number of exams in Aircraft Technical, Air Law, Navigation, Meteorology and Human Performance.

Congratulations to John Heffernan, Dave Corboy & Johnny Madden who got all of their PPL exams.

31st March 2008:
Conor Moran this afternoon successfully passed his PPL at Weston having trained at Birr for a year. Well done lad from all at the Ormand Flying Club!!

He now plans to continue his training at Waterford to pursue a career in commercial aviation.
